Radiant You

In a Red saree, you shine so fair,

A beautiful bindi, beyond compare.

Good-looking jhumkies adorn your ears so fine,

My favorite watching, a joy of mine.

You wear your lucky watch, a treasured find,

And your all-time favorite bracelet, intertwined.

Contrasting nail paints, looks good to hold,

A bit too much makeup, yet your beauty to behold.

But nothing compares to your simple smile so free,

It overlaps everything, and fills my heart with glee.

Your attire on one side, your smile on the other,

Your smile wins over, like a humble, caring lover.

It makes me ponder, should you change your way,

For your own sake or mine, to brighten up my day?

Doesn't matter the answer, what truly does prevail,

Is that you satisfy my eyes, and my heart does set sail.

In your presence, my heart finds its nest,

And with you, my dream girl, I am forever blessed, I am forever blessed
