The Love we Overlook

We run after those who don’t care,
And forget the love that’s always there.
We miss the people close to heart,
Chasing those who stay apart.

We remember old loves from the past,
And ignore the ones who truly last.
It’s unfair to those who stand by,
While for others, we laugh and cry.

Let’s not hurt the ones who stay,
By looking for love far away.
Let’s value those who care for us,
And give them love, because we must.
